Our eagle safari did return us to Trollfjord and while we were there Nordlys also reentered the fjord.
Its tight quarters even for the relatively small Nordlys
We left Trollfjord and on return to Lofoten we had more Eagles
We returned to Lofoten to meet up with Nordlys
where we saw more cod drying
Continuing south we saw the artic circle marker
we cruise past more fishing boats
a passing ship
The Hole in the Rock slides by on a misty day
MS Trollfjord arrives from the south
Nordlys and Trollfjord at dock
The next day was sunny and mild, here we see a highspeed ferry.
And then came screaming past us
and then A car ferry headed into the same dock
colorful sail boat
After docking in Kristiansund we boarded a bus and headed for the Alanterhavsvein (alantic ocean road) with a stop at a restaurant for bacalao ( a famous Portuguese salt cod dish) and then a return to the boat in Molde
Falls in Kristiansund
a view of Kristiansund harbor
Entrance to the steepest underwater tunnel in Norway, opened march 09

Bacalao Restaurant and yard
The owner says goodbye and holds her main ingredient a salted cod
Alanterhavsvegen where in stormy days the waves crash over the road and even some of the bridges
Along the road a services house has been reinforced on the ocean side with thick rubber mats and rocks as protection from Ocean breakers
Nordlys awaits us at dock in Molde
Molde is known for its roses but we did not see any
Street to the Dock was under construction so we left the bus and walked the remaining 2 blocks
In Tromso we went to a midnight concert in the church overlooking the harbor it was still light on our exit at 1 am
On return to Bergen harbor we were met by Nordst Hernen a former Hurtigruten boat on a harbor cruise
From Bergen we rented a car and drove to Bjordal to meet up with Ane's family
